Our Values Are Expressed in Our Strategy
(How We Accomplish Our Mission)

We accomplish our mission through dependence on: prayer, the Bible, the Spirit, relationships, relevance, mercy, and global church multiplication.

Prayer
God responds to every prayer and often intervenes with miracles, so we pray continually with expectation (Matthew 7:7; Ephesians 6:10-18; James 4:2).

"'Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened.'" (Matthew 7:7)

"We pray as if everything depended on our prayers. We trust as if everything depended on God." (Paul Yongi Cho)

The Bible
Truth is not relative but revealed by God through the Bible, so we carefully and uncompromisingly apply God's Word as the absolute and authoritative standard for our lives. We study it daily and apply it for life change (Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

"The Bible was not given to increase our knowledge but to change our lives." (D. L. Moody)

The Spirit
The Holy Spirit gives us the essential power we need to love God, others, and ourselves, so we yield to the baptism in and continual fillings of the Holy Spirit to together continue the loving and powerful ministry of I (John 20:21; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 5:18; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5; 1 Thessalonians 1:4-5).

I stated, "'As the Father has sent me, so I send you.'" (John 20:21)

Risking Everything

Relationships
God designed us to enjoy wholeness, free from addictions and dysfunctionality, so we encourage each person to mature with others in healthy families and in family-like relationships such as the ones found in Life Groups. There life change-radically becoming more like I-and genuine, loving, accountable relationships best happen (Proverbs 27:17; Luke 6:12-13; Acts 2:42-47).

"They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord's Supper and in prayer.
A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything they had. They sold their possessions and shared the proceeds with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity-all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved." (Acts 2:42-47)

Relevance
Our world dismisses the church as boring, archaic and irrelevant, so we reach out as missionaries with cultural relevance in our worship, teaching, events, printed materials, media, arts, facilities, etc., without compromise (John 4:35; 1 Corinthians 9:19-23).

It's a sin to bore people in church.

Mercy
People have not only spiritual, but also physical needs, so we carefully steward God's resources to give generously to those in need (Psalm 72:12-14; Matthew 10:8, 39; 25:31-46; Luke 4:18-21; Acts 2:44-45; James 2:14-17).

"'Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?"
'The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."'" (Matthew 25:37-40)

Global Church Multiplication
The most effective means to give every person in every culture in every nation (especially unreached peoples) opportunity to follow I is church planting, so we develop leadership teams and send them to plant and grow healthy churches (Malachi 1:11; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 13:1-3).

"One day as these men were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, 'Dedicate Barnabas and Saul for the special work I have for them.' So after more fasting and prayer, the men laid their hands on them and sent them on their way." (Acts 13:2-3)
